The Bee Bacteria

"Charmy!" Vector yelled, "Come back here with that WD-40!"

"You'll have to catch me, first!" Charmy chirped, "Catch! Catch! Catch!"

"ESPIO!" Vector shouted, "Did you put something in his Cola!?"

"No," Espio said, "Charmy, calm yourself. Recklessness leads to self-harm."

Charmy wasn't listening, "WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

"Charmy. Calm," Espio said, "Channel your spirit, create an inner world in which you may do whatever you please. The outer world is no place for actions such as this."

Charmy finally slowed down anough, "Oooooh...pretty bug..."

"That's a mosquito!" Vector said, in his old loud way, "It'll give you Malaria!"

"Wrong. Most mosquitos only want blood, " Charmy said, "See? I AM smart. Sometimes... it won't hurt me."

In a case of insect Karma, the mosquito quickly stabbed Charmy's arm, sucked some blood out and rushed away. Charmy yelped and fell to the ground.

Espio rushed over to check on him, "Are you in pain, young one?"

"Ow..." Charmy whined, tearing up, "Nasty bug bit me..."

"Oh, you're in for it now!" Vector laughed, "Some bugs can catch a disease that turns them into girls!"

"Vector!" Espio snapped, "Do not worry yourself, Charmy. That is a rare occurence, the disease is generally simply carried, and it does not happen to Mobian insects anyway."

"You...you really think so?" Charmy asked. Espio simply nodded and helped him into the house.

"Hey, I was just joking with you, Charmy," Vector said, walking in, "You'll be fine."

"I hope so...or you'll feel that stinging pain for a long time!"

Charmy was able to apply the sting medicine to himself, somehow, ansd was generally fine for the rest of the day. But by the evening, he started to feel a bit sick. His cheeks went green with the sickness and he'd lost count how many times he had...expelled his lunch through his mouth. It was a few hours before Espio or Vector noticed, when Charmy nearly threw up at the dinner table.

"You okay, Charmy?" Vector asked.

"I...don't...maybe...no..." Charmy sputtered weakly. His face was even greener and his wings failed to work propely, letting off buzzes at untimed moments, "I think that mosquito WAS carrying Mal...Maler...whatever you said!"

"That is unlikely the case," Espio said, "Malaria rarely shows symptoms before a week after infection. In addition, the common symptoms include sweating, chills, and dry coughing - All of which we would notice. It is likely a different, more minor disease that you should sleep off."

"I woudn't say minor..." Charmy said, "But...I'm fine, honest..." Of course, this was followed by another round of almost vomit.

"That's not what I see, Charmy!" Vector said, surprised, "You better go off before you throw up on the rug. We still owe on that!"

"Why're we ALWAYS in debt?" Charmy asked weakly.

"Do not worry yourself about these matters," Espio said, "Now, you must rest."

"Okay..." Charmy tried to drag himself way, but his knees gave way and he crashed to the ground. Sighing, Espio picked him up and carried him to his bed, setting him down softly. He turned, closed the door and walked back over to Vector.

"Something's worrying..." Espio said, "My ninja senses are going all over the place."

"Don't worry about it," Vector said, "He'll probably be fine in the morning."

MORNING

"Morning Espio!" Vector strolled in eating toast, "Sleep well?"

"I suppose so..." Espio said, also eating toast, "Charmy was coughing in his sleep for hours. For some reason, his voice pitch was gradually getting higher... We'll have to look into that. Anyway, he finally stopped around ten, and seemed to be sleeping soundly and healthily, so I went to bed."

 Meanwhile, Charmy was just waking up. He felt... Better, but... Strange. Taller. He threw off his blankets, ignored these weird signs and went to the bathroom. As he washed his face, something still bugged him.
 
 "I don't get it...SOMETHING feels different... uh... let's see... hair... here's some there, waist... smaller, body... longer... chest... groin... whoa!"

Charmy sprinted back into his own room and looked at himself in the mirror. He was a female now! He looked almost the same, but now he was taller, with a larger stinger, some blondish hair, larger antennae, ripped clothing, now too small for him an the usual female things. He reached for his chest...

"GUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUYS!!!" she screamed at the top of her new lungs.

Vector and Espio rushed into the room. They saw Charmy, taking in the new appearance for a few moments before speaking.

"WHOA!" Vector yelled, "Who's she? Where's Espio?"

"... This does not bode well," Espio said.

"You're darn right!" Charmy yelled, "Look at me!"

"It's kinda hard not to..." Espio said sarcasticly, "...Yep, that's Charmy. His Ninja-scent is the same."

"Wait...THAT'S Charmy?!"

"Yes, It appears that your joke had some unfortunate merit to it, as Charmy appears to have caught a super-strain of Wolbachia. This caused him to transform from male to female, and also seems to have oddly given him an increase in age."

Vector's eye twitched rapidly as he tried to take it all in, "What's...Wolobabia?"

"Wolbachia. It is a bacterial reproductive parasite that affects anthropods, sometimes causing them to switch genders, though it usually just kills them or they're immune. Charmy was either lucky, or this super-strain only switches the gender... We must keep him away from other Mobian insects for a few weeks, in either case, and must stay away ourselves as we're likely carriers."

""Well, if we're carriers, wouldn't we be infected too?"

"Generally, no, but the strain seems defective. There's no telling what could happen to us or anyone we come in contact with," Espio said, "For now, we must remain here, and help Charmy as much as we can. I apologize that we can't get you new clothes, Charmy."

"I don't think he needs them," Vector said, "It's stereotypical."

"Yes, but you can see that he is female now, he unfortunately has no fur to hide anything, and he wears clothes anyway."

"Not funny!" Vector said. His own eyes went small, "Ah, great! Now I feel sick! I'm gonna be next!"

"... This does not bode well at all," Espio said, as he started to feel sick.

"Now you guys'll  end up like me..." Charmy said, wrapping a towel around her body, "At least we're suffering together..."

"Not really," Espio sighed, "It's unpredictable, being a super-strain. I could become a baby again, Vector could end up think he's his 'girlfriend' Vanilla."

"THAT WAS ONE TIME!" Vector barked

"Not the point," Espio said, coughing, "Come, Vector, let's get to the couch..."

"Aww..." Charmy sighed, "Now I have to speand a few hours gtting used to this! I better call someone for help...but who?

"No!" Espio coughed, as he slowly dragged Vector out of the room, "We can't risk infecting anybody else! You're going to have to cross each bridge as you come to it."

"Why?" Charmy asked, following

"I just told you!" Espio coughed again, "Vector, you need to lose weight!" There was a thud as Espio threw Vector onto the couch, flopping down next to him.

"Fine..." Charmy said. She waited a few minutes for Espio to fall asleep, then went outside for some fresh air, "It's okay, Charmy, you've gone through worse. Maybe this is a dream... yeah, a nightmare. A KARMA nightmare for putting all those traps on Classic Sonic. I can adjust pretty... how do I pee!? I better see someone!"

Charmy rushed across the city, quicky stopping at a bridge, "Hmm...what did Espio say to me?"

A small thought bubble appeared over Charmy's head, Espio saying ,"No! We can't risk infecting anybody else! You're going to have to cross each bridge as you come to it!"

Suddenly, something struck her brain like lightning, reforming the memory to, "No! We can't risk eating all other eggs! You'll have to crossdress each hedge to..."

"What just happened?" Charmy asked herself, "My memories! They're being swtiched around! I gotta get someone to stop this!... and maybe get some pink shoes... NO! Get it together, Charmy!"

Charmy's self-argument went on all the way into Centeral City, ignoring the bridge thing. 

Suddenly, Charmy crashed into someone else, and looked up to see Sonic sitting on the ground nearby, rubbing his head.

"Ow... Sorry," Sonic said, "I should have watched where I was going. Which is odd, seeing I plow through most people like butter."

"SONI-!" Charmy suddenly stopped, "Wait...Sonic's a jerk! I can't tell him. He's laugh at me! Uh...sorry, sir...I'm..."

"Don't bother, Charmy. It's not hard to tell it's you, You're just wearing a towel, and stilts, and a wig."

"Maybe..." Charmy said. A suddenn gust of wind blew the towel away, "GARCH! AW, COME ON!!!"

Sonic's eyes went small too, "... Oh. Sorry, miss, I mistook you for someone I know..."

"...You're kidding right?"

"... No... Are you Charmy's sister or something? You look just like him... Except, you know, older. And a girl."

"You KNOW I have no other family! At least...none I'm certain about..." Charmy said, "Well, it's like this: I got bitten by this mosquito and got a mutated strain of Wolachia, which made me female through a female! I went out to fix it and stop the disease from spreading! Which I've just...done....to you..."

Sonic stared, "... O... kay then... I'll just be going now. You'd better get home, um... Yeah, bye." He rushed off towards Tails' home, leaving Charmy behind... and taking the disease with him.

"Uh...uh oh!" Charmy winced, "Now SONIC'S got it too! That speedy guy could infectt the whole city in minutes!"

Meanwhile, Sonic was coming to a stop outside Tails' workshop. As soon as he walked inside, he suddenly coughing heavily.

"Hmm...never had a cough like that before. Better see Tails." He stumbled over to Tails, "Hey bro! How's it going?"

Tails jumped, "Ack! Oh... Sorry, Sonic. I was kind of focused... Are you okay, bro? You look pale!"

"Well, that's the thing!" Sonic gasped for air, "I accidently bumped into Charmy's sister, I think, while out jogging. She said something about some disease, and when I got here, I was coughing like crazy."

"I'd better get you to bed," Tails said, lifting Sonic and carrying him over to his room. He set him softly down on the bed, "Get well soon, bro."

"Thanks...got ant ice packs?" Sonic wheezed.

"Sure," Tails said, going to get them and returning quicky, "See you soon, bro."

Tails left the room, and started coughing lightly. He ignored it, and went back to work.

A few hours later, at the Chaotix Detective Agency,

"Hmmm...feeing better. Vector? Vector?" Espio asked, waking up. Vector was nowhere to be seen and the world seemed a lot bigger. He stumbled to a mirror and looked at himself. He gasped in shock, followed by, "I HAD to say that, didn;t I?"

Espio was a baby! Well, a baby AGAIN. He was barely the size of a basketball, normal for a Mobian baby, but his shoes and gloves had apparently shrunk with him, now forming cute little colored socks.

"Okay...THIS IS FREAKY!" Espio yelled, fliping out, "Help! Anyone!"

"Espio?" came Vector's voice, followed by some coughing. A sort of...rabbit...crocodile...thing....lept from behind to door. It looked mostly like Vanilla, but with Vector's tail, teeth and eyes. But everything else looked like Vanilla, right down to the dress.

"VECTOR?" Espio asked, "You're turning into VANILLA?" He launched into a massive bout of high-pitched laughing.

"Yeah... it ain't funny!" Vector said again, now having Vanilla's voice, "Look at me! This is really freaky!"

"Well, you and me both!" Espio cried, "I'm a baby! A... cute baby... but I need to turn back! Where's Charmy?"

"I don't know," Vector said, "... I think I'm done now."

"I'm thinking..." Espio muttered, "I need the remote...Vector? Cn you please boost me up to the shelf to reach the remote for the TV? Please?"

"...Alright..." Vector said, picking up Espio. He grabbed the remote.

"Never speak of this again..." Espio blushed, pressing the button for the news channel. Nothing, "Vector...I suppose you...forgot...to pay the electric bill again?"

"Didn't forget, we just don't have enough," Vector said, "... Sure was lucky I had this dress hidden under my bed, huh? Stop looking at me like that."

"Still doesn't answer where Charmy went..." Espio said, before double taking, "WAIT! He's gone. He could've infected the entire town!" He began tearing up, "Wait...why am I crying?"

"Babies cry a lot?" Vector suggested, "...Something's wrong with my head. I'm getting dizzy. It's ALL going!..." Vector stopped for a small second, "Huh...that's strange. I still have my memories...yet I feel more...motherly."

"WHAT?!" Espio yelled, "Oh, this is hopeless. Charmy could've infected EVERYONE. And the only ones to stop him are a baby and some...some...hybrid! We'll never get paid again!" Espio suddenly broke into a massive bout of childih crying, "Seriously...why am I doing that?"

"It's what babies do..." Vector cooed, producing a set of one peice pajamas.

"Wait...what's that for?"

"You!" 

Espio was forced into the pajamas and felt incredibly embarrassed.

"Vector...have you lost your mind?"

"I'm home!" Charmy said, walking through the door, "I couldn't find anybody who wanted to... Oh, you guys are done. Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Look what you've done!" Espio shouted, waving his arms around, "Look at us! I'm a little baby and Vectors lost his... her... mind!"

Again, Charmy was ignoring him, "Awww! You look so cute Espio!" she quickly picked him up and hugged him.

"Stop it! Charmy!" Espio protested, "You did this!"

"Yes!" Vector said, "Now, put your little sister down and go to your room, young lady."

"What? No!" Charmy protested, "Oh. man! What've I done?!"

"Got us infected with your disease," Espio started, "Ran outside when we told you not to, and infected who knows how many other people. Listen to Vector, and go to your room... We have to make sure this doesn't spread more."

"Nope! I have to see what I've done!" Charmy said, "And YOU'RE coming with me!" Charmy dashed out of the door, "Right, first victim... Sonic!"

Charmy sprinted to Tails' workshop where she knew Sonic would be. 

Meanwhile, at Tails' workshop, Sonic woke up, still feeling wretched. He felt quite hot, so he pulled off the blankets. He sighed as he lay back down, and glanced down his body. He froze when he noticed a small growth on his chest that seemed to be slowly getting bigger.

'Gah!' he screamed in his mind, 'What the hell is that?!'

"Tails!" he tried to yell, but he found his voice had gone a bit higher, "Not cool! TAILS!"

"Sonic!" Tails ran into the room, coughing lightly. He seemed to have shrunk a few inches, and his fur looked rather... Dirty, brownish. "Are you alright, Sonic?"

"No! Something's going really wrong! I'm still sick, I'm getting lumps on my chest and you're turning brown!"

"Huh?" Tails looked down, seeing his fur, "Ack! Not good, not good! What's going on?"

"I dunno!" Sonic yelled, feeling pain from his stomach. "You tell m-ACK! Wait...maybe it was...it WAS Charmy! He must've done this to me! And YOU!"

"What do you mean?"

"That girl I said I thought was Charmy's sister! She said something about a disease turning her into a girl... Wolbathi, or something. It was Charmy, and he infected us! I'M TURNING INTO A GIRL!"

"Wolbachia?" Tails asked, "That means... Oh no... For it to affect Charmy, it'd have to be a super-strain. It'd need to adapt to Mobian anatomy, which means he could potentially infect any Mobian he comes into contact with! And, now you have it, so would you! You could've infected all the Mobians in the city between you both!"

"Oh, I hope not," Sonic said, "... And I think I picked a lucky route home today, I didn't see hardly anybody after Charmy..."

"That's good, at least..." Tails said, coughing lightly, "But we'll need to stay inside... We don't want to infect anybody else. I'll stay with you, Sonic... I'm infected now anyway."

"Wait...I think I saw Rouge...she visits a lot of people... But I don't think I got too close to her..."

"I don't think so, Sonic. Unless it can travel through the air for more than a few feet, there's no chance of a city-wide epidemic," Tails fiddled with his Miles Electric, "... It can travel around ten feet... I think that leaves you in the clear, but I don't know about Charmy... and maybe Rouge... how far were you from Rouge?"

"About ten feet."

"Then it might have got her too, but there's no way to tell. Let's hope not," Tails laid down in the bed next to Sonic, "I'm here for you, bro...can you hear a vacuum sound?"

"No..." Sonic checked his groin, "...AAH! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Oh and thanks, Tails."

"You're...welcome, I guess..."

The two soon nodded off to sleep.

A few hours later...

"Tails!" Charmy banged on the door, still carrying the baby Espio, "I need to come in! What've I done?! TAILS!...Can't get in...Espio?"

Espio sighed, and quickly unlocked the door with his horn/nose, "Get in, quick!"

"That's ALWAYS really cool!" Charmy chirped, rushing in. The insides were a mess, wit some green gas swirling around, "Is that the disease?"

"Highly unlikely, but we're alright anyway, seeing as we're already infected, "Espio said, "Sonic? Tails? Were are you?"

Suddenly, there was a strained breathing sound as a female blue hedgehog stumbled towards them, with a shocked expression on her face and even some tears coming from her eyes. She wore no clothes, but the shoes and gloves were enough to prove it was Sonic.

"... Hello, Charmy," Sonic said, "... What were you thinking, going outside with this sort of disease?!"

"Sonic! You're okay! ...Sorta..." Charmy said. Sonic began steaming.

"Sort of? SORT OF?! LOOK AT ME! I'M FEMALE! AND NAKED!" She slumped to the floor, "Too awesome to be a female...tooo...awesome..." Then SHE started sobbing too.

"Now, do you see?" Espio asked, "Look what your ignorance of Vector and me has done!"

"I know! How do I fix it?!" Charmy sighed, approaching Sonic, "Come on Sonic. Stand up. Sitting around crying isn't gonna solve anything."

"... Well, we're gonna have to stay inside," Tails walked into the room. Charmy quickly noticed that the fox seemed younger and smaller, as well as his colors having changed from yellow and white to brown and beige, respectively, "We can't let this spread more than it already has... I'll have to build a teleporter for the things we need, so that others from outside can send us food, and that we can travel between each other's homes... But you can't go outside, okay?"

"Tails..." Charmy said, "What happened to you? You look...dumber."

"Dumber?" Tails asked, "Any acts of dumbness on my part is only down to..." he stopped, looking blank, approaching Espio, "Yay! Cute baby! Aww!"

"Tails?" Espio asked, "What about that plan?"

"... Later," Tails said, picking Espio up, "I'm a little kid again... I'd like to enjoy it for awhile."

"Great! Now it's all up to me, I suppose," Charmy sighed, "I need to put something together in what's left of the workshop. Little help, Espio?"

"... Fine," Tails said, setting Espio back down, "I guess I'd better get to work..."

"Want me to help?" Charmy asked.

"I'm not so sure that's a good idea," Tails said, "Sonic, could you show them the room where I keep the video games? I'll try to finish this quickly."

Sonic still wasn't responding. She was still in a crumpled heap on the floor.

"Hmm..." Espio checked the computers, "There's a small problem with that...it says here that Sonic and Charmy are on the same celluar level as the electro-magnetic pulse a teleporter would create. They'd be unable to change back."

"I dunno...I like it like this," Charmy said, "It wasn't ALL my fault, for once..."

"... Espio, you have no idea what that means," Tails said, "Those are completely different scales that have zero effect on each other. It's just a coincidence, and not one that particularly matters... Sonic, why don't you go play games with Espio and Charmy, and try not to think about it too much?"

Still no answer.

"I think I broke his...her mind," Charmy sighed, "My bad."

"Sonic!" Tails said, "New Super Mario Bros Wii! Two new people to play with!"

Sonic jolted up, "... Thanks, Tails."

"No problem," Tails said, "Can you show Espio and Charmy to the game room?"

Sonic nodded and escorted the two into a nearby room. Tails cracked his fingers.

"Time to get to work!" Tails could be heard saying before the door was closed.

"... So," Sonic asked, "How are you two handling it?"

"Compared to you? Well," Charmy said, "Think I might stay like this, when I get some actual clothes. Maybe you should too..."

"... I'll consider it," Sonic said shortly, "And you, Espio?"

"I...don't want to think about it...I can't hold the controller."

"... Oh, sorry about that..." Sonic said, "What about, you know, being female?"

"After you get over the initial shock, it's not too bad. Of course, learning to pee is...strange. And trying to walk with new proportions is difficult. I probably swerved all over town. Must've bumped into...six people? Trying to get back? Oh well, doesn't matter."

"... Great. Well, here's hoping that they were humans who don't interact with Mobians much... It should die out quickly with a completely incompatible host... Let's start playing, Charmy."

Meanwhile...

"I have to admit, you're good looking as a six year old," Rouge smirked.

"This isn't funny Rouge!" Shadow pouted, swiping at his own changed quills, now yellow and blue, "None of it's funny!"

"It is a little funny," Rouge said, "And it's even funnier to imagine you in a little dress like Cream's. Or Maria's. Good thing I have one on me!"

"NOOOOO!" Shadow whined, but to no avail. Rouge got him in the dress, causing him to blush, "Hating...this..."

"It's not so bad," Rouge said, "You get to have a childhood now, right?"

"Yes," Shadow growled, "But I don't want to live it AS A GIRL!"

"Well, you're not a girl. At least it doesn't look like it. That bee girl might be...want your plush toy?"

Shadow blinked, "Plush toy?"

Rouge produced a plushie of Maria, "This plush toy."

"... Gimme," Shadow said, grabbing the toy, "I'm going to hug this, but I am highly offended by it."

"How? You get to see Maria again."

Shadow ignored her, turning his back to her and hugging the plush more, "At least you didn't get any...effects. Maybe because you missed that bee when she came rushing toards us."

"Or maybe it's because I'm already a girl," Rouge said.

"Mpth...maybe."

Meanwhile...(again)

"No fair! I ALWAYS lose on that game!" Sonic sighed, having switched over to Super Smash Brothers Brawl, "Even if I play me!"

"Skill, some of us have it, others don't!" Charmy smirked.

"Made even worse over the fact Espio joined in. I got beaten by a BABY!"

"Though I may have physically regressed, I still possess the same mentality."

"I thought you never played video games before?" Charmy asked,

"And the same degree of good luck," Espio grinned, "Though Vector's mentality has changed significantly, and Charmy's to a small extent."

"Small extent? I feel fine!...Somewhat."
.
"That's the thing. You've gotten used to your new form. Your mind must've changed a small bit. You appear to be much calmer than normal, for which I am grateful, but you also appear to have actually accepted the idea of remaining female for the rest of your life."

At that moment, Tails walked into the room, "Alright, I've got the teleporters made... Five of them, and they can be used to teleport between each other... Which means they'll have to be taken to the new locations manually.  I'll be able to disinfect myself - And, no, that doesn't mean a cure - and prevent myself from being able to catch it again, but I don't think I can do the same for you three. I'll have to take them alone. You three will need to sit tight and wait for me, got it?"

"Okay!" All three said.

"... Don't do anything crazy, alright guys?" Tails asked, walking out of the room. Noises could be heard, likely Tails disinfecting himself.

"Continuing on," Espio said, "You're calmer and seem to have accepted the possibility of remaining female forever."

"I know," Charmy said, "Before I...infected them, people seemed to respect me more. And I was thinking it can't be any worse that trying to grow up among the same bullies as...say, Tails. I'm benefiting from it. And I think Sonic could too, if she could just think for a fraction of a second that things could be worse!"

"Things could be worse," Sonic admitted, "But things could also be better. And you have it way better than Tails did even normally, alright?"

"Just trust it and it MIGHT work..." Charmy said, "...I know! Let's do something crazy!"

"Whoa, whoa, no," Sonic said, "Tails told us not to do anything crazy. I'm thinking we should listen to him."

"Well, what else can we do? We can sit here like lemons OR we could create a special, honey powered ray that could cure everyone EXCEPT me. and maybe you."

"Or we could patiently play video games and wait for the fox with an IQ of four hundred who knows what he's doing to fix it."

Charmy wasn't listening, "Where's the ray gun? And the honey?"

"... And, apparently, you aren't listening to me," Sonic sighed, "Some things never change, do they, Espio? Espio?"

Espio had gone too. Sonc tried to rush out of the room, but tripped over her tied-together shoelaces.

Five minutes later...

Sonic rushed into the main area and a large, slapdash raygun was in the center.

"ARE YOU INSANE?!" Sonic yelled.

"Sort of! I''ve got the cure! One part Oxygen, two parts Hydrogen plus 5 parts Family Honey equals a cure! For some people. Here we go!"

"No, that's stinking diluted honey!"

Too late. The gun fired, releasing a light blue wave, turning everything white. It faded quickly, so Sonic checked herself. Maybe...

Oh. STILL female.

"What...was that for? You were supposed to cure everything!"

"She did, somehow," Espio said. He was back to normal!

"If you're back to normal,. why aren't I?"

"Honey is very...strange," Charmy said, "Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Oh well. At least everyone else is back to normal. Let's go home, Espio...quickly!" Charmy rushed off, Sonic looking VERY angry.

At the Chaotix House...

"That's pretty funny!" Tails said, trying not to laugh. He had just made it to the Chaotix house to see Vector's twisted form.

"It's not THAT funny!" Vector protested, "Strange, yes, but not funny!"

"Heh heh... Sorry, Vector," Tails said, setting down the giant metal plate that was the teleporter.

Suddenly, Charmy burst through the door again, "I'm back!" And I fixed Espio!"

"... How?" Tails asked.

"By making a ray gun with a honey-based mixture. Should cure everyone in a 15-foot radius, just missing us, unfortunately for Sonic, thought that was something different.. Gotta say, that diaper came in use when firing it up."

"... I'm not going to ask," Tails said, "Where's Sonic? What honey based mixture?"

"Hydrogen...Oxygen...Honey..." came Sonic's wheezing, "He MADE it not effect me!"

"... Water? Mixed with honey?" Tails asked in disbelief, "How does that even... Charmy, fix Sonic!"

"Nope! I like her this way... Needs some clothes though, Vector, I don't suppose you have any clothes?" Charmy asked

"Just baby clothes and copies of this dress..."

"I'll take it. I've only just remembered I did all that...well, buff. Know what I mean?" Sonic asked.

"...Not really, no." Tails sighed.

Reluctantly, Sonic changed into the dress, "This doesn't feel right... do I look okay?"

"Really?...Not really, no." Espio said, looking away.

"Uh... I don't know," Tails admitted.

"Right...we better wrap up any loose ties now..." Vector said.

"Well, your body's natural defense system will fight off the disease, and then I'll be able to revert you back to normal if you want," Tails explained, "As for Sonic, your bodys too weak for that. I suggest staying in bed, getting used to the body and see if I can make a cure. Everyone should be fixed in about a week. At least is'a happy ending."

"Not yet..." Espio said, slyly.

"Well, why? I've saved the day, haven't I? You can't touch me!" Charmy grinned.

"Never was..." both Vector and Espio said, "NOW GO TO YOUR ROOM!"

"But-"

"NOW!!!"

"Alright..." Charmly sulked, walking off to her room, "Needed a rest, anyway..."

Tails turned to Sonic, "You feeling alright, bro?"

"... I... guess... Let's just get home, alright?"

"Sure thing," Tails said, leading Sonic over to the teleporter, "Now... Ahem, GOTOTALSWORKSHOPNAO!"

There was a flash of light and they were gone, leaving Espio and Vector.

"You know..." Espio said, "I can't help but think there's something we've forgotten... hmmm."

Meanwhile...

"More tea, Mr. Shadow?" Cream asked gleefully.

"ROUGE!" Shadow yelled, "THIS ISN'T FUNNY EITHER!"

What happened next:

Sonic and Tails went back to their workshop to try and fix all the other problems. Tails managed to find a cure after a few months, and returned Sonic to male. However, Tails forgot that he was female for quite awhile, but eventually returned himself to being male. He opted to keep the brown coloration and younger age, though. Unfortunately, Sonic lost his memory from being hit by a loose part of the raygun, also kickstarting a chain reaction to ensure permanent femalification, causing her to wind up as a different person, still female, all together. With time, Sonic was able to remember Tails, and their relationship mended to just the same as it had always been, even with how different Sonic was.

Charmy lived the remainder of his, or rather her, life as a female. She lived a happy life, though her friends (mostly Tails) still reminded her that she was once a boy from time to time. She studied under Tails, learning many new things so that she could make her own inventions. Eventually, Vector changed back, but was never quite the same again. He went incredibly strange whenever around Cream or Vanilla, though this was still sorted out by therapy in the end. Espio's adevnture in a nappy was utterly confusing, meaning he was a lot more light-hearted around children from that point on.

Shadow was also restored and got to keep his new plush, though Rouge was able to keep Shadow's status hidden for nearly a year. Rouge eventually got her comeuppance by being struck by lightning, accidentally, by Charmy's poor attempts of fixing a telivision arial. She is, luckily, on the road to recovery, though her wings were fried and she had to give up being a jewel theif.

Jet and Storm of the Babylon Rogues both got infected, and the three went into hiding. Jet ended up female too and started to think he was the slowest thing ever, which he was in the running for. As a female, Jet looked very similar to how he did normally. With Storm also becoming some multi-coloured monstrosity, Wave got the three out of danger as quickly as possible.

Big got infected after a visit to Cream while Shadow was there, and never returned to normal. This is all that you want to know.

Strangely, the bacteria managed to change the future - Silver was female the next time they met on an adventure, and claimed that she always had been.
